Postalmuseum.uk The Isle of Wight Postal Museum Archives

The museum is a private collection of over two hundred post boxes and several thousand items of postal equipment, papers and associated material.

The boxes are mainly ex-Royal Mail which have been refurbished to an ‘as new’ condition - at least in a cosmetic sense. There are also a few boxes from other countries and a number of private posting boxes.

We hope you enjoy looking through our collection and if you have any questions, please check out our FAQs first. Any other queries may be submitted by email and we will try our best to answer them as soon as possible but do not expect a reply ‘by return - it may take a few days.

To avoid disappointment, please make sure that firm dates and times have been agreed before travelling to visit us.

Not all of our visitors are of the human   variety !
